The Kulthorn Electric Co.,Ltd. was formerly named Kulthorn Universal Electric Co.,Ltd. which was the joint venture and licensee of Universal Electric Co.,Ltd. - U.S.A. and had started the production of fractional horse power electric motor for air-conditioning and refrigeration units since 1990 under the license and U.S. technology. When the licensor Universal Electric Co. of U.S.A. has been sold, affected the license was expired, so the company name was changed to Kulthorn Electric Co.,Ltd. on April 2000.

               At present, Kulthorn Electric Co.,Ltd. is still manufacturing the precision electric motor under the long experience of U.S. technology with the quality policy "Double-E" Energy & Efficiency and the Products safety & quality management systems are approved by the international certifications.
